In the last newsletter a mistake crept in, so we would like to send you this once again to make sure that you do not miss our news for the winter of 2019/20.

Mayrhofen, located in the heart of the Tyrolean mountains, spoils its guests with 142 kilometers of pistes and 58 lifts and shows how remarkably varied winter can be. Austria’s steepest slope experience, one of the best snow parks in the Alps, cozy and quaint huts and restaurants, racing courses for everybody, an igloo village with suites made of snow, and numerous other highlights are waiting to be discovered.

NEW FOR THE 2019/20 WINTER SEASON

  • Cable Car Guided Tour: Every Wednesday at 2.00 p.m. you have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the 3S Penkenbahn.
  • Early Bird on Mount Ahorn: Take the first gondola at 7.30 a.m. and enjoy the freshly prepared 5.5-kilometer-long valley run Ahorn.
  • Mayrhofen Trophy: Tackle various challenges, such as the Altitude Guzzlers Tour and the Ski Movie Run, for your chance to win great prizes.
  • Albert Adler Tour: Our mascot will accompany you on the new Albert Adler Tour on Piste 4a on Mount Ahorn.

Opening times
- Winter 2019/20 -

The opening times of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen for the upcoming winter season:

 

From 07 to 24 December 2019, the Penkenbahn, Horbergbahn, and Möslbahn are running daily from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.; from 25 December 2019 they start operating already at 8.00 a.m.

 

From 14 December 2019, the Ahornbahn is running daily from 07.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

You will find day ski passes as well as the Zillertaler Superskipass that includes 535 kilometers of pistes and 180 lifts.

Action Mountain Penken
- Highlight Pistes -

Action Mountain Penken is easily accessible via the Penkenbahn in Mayrhofen, the Horbergbahn in Schwendau, and the Möslbahn in Hochschwendberg and offers a fun day of skiing for young and old thanks to a variety of piste highlights.

Leisure Mountain Ahorn
- Highlight Pistes -

Austria’s largest gondola, the Ahornbahn, takes families as well as leisurely skiers right from the town center up to 2,000 meters above sea level, where they’ll find mostly blue and red slopes that are perfect for carving.

Every Tuesday, the Café-Bistro Kunstraum at the Ahornbahn mountain station is the venue for our “Dinner on Mount Ahorn.” Spoil yourself to a delicious fondue and enjoy the incredible mountain scenery and the breathtaking view of Mayrhofen at night.
