You’re a very good skier and want to proove your skills? Try to tackle the black pistes, which have a gradient of at least 40 percent, in the Mayrhofen ski area.

Here are the black pistes:

  • Piste 5, the Valley Run Ahorn
  • Piste 12, the Devil’s Run – known among the locals as the “Harakiri Test"
  • Piste 16, the Black Attack, including Ski Movie Run at the Möslbahn
  • Piste 34, the Harakiri, Austria’s steepest slope experience with a gradient of 78 percent
