Late summer is here and our mountains are looking especially beautiful in the clear skies. Numerous activities remain on offer until mid-October. A wide range of highlights, including the Sunrise Gondola, the Locandy Audio Adventure, various mountain bike routes, and the Funsportstation on Mount Penken, to name just a few, guarantee fun and relaxing times for young and old.

Sunrise Gondola
- An impressive spectacle of nature -

Take the opportunity to watch a beautiful sunrise at 2,000 meters above sea level!

10 September 2020 at 7:00 a.m.

 

The Ahornbahn, Austria’s largest cable car, takes you up to the Ahorn plateau, where you can enjoy a hot cup of tea at the Zillertal viewing platform.

 

Tip: Treat yourself to a hearty breakfast at the Ahornhütte or the Filzenstadl. (You need to register in advance at the mountain restaurants!)

The poacher of Mount Ahorn
- Crime story at 2,000 meters above sea level -

For some time now, animals have been disappearing from Mount Ahorn in Mayrhofen. Martin the hunter suspects that a poacher is responsible, so he is on the lookout...

 

Together with your family and friends, you’ll search for clues on the Leisure Trail Ahorn and try to solve the criminal case called “The poacher of Mount Ahorn”.

 

Don’t forget to listen and watch closely and explore every nook and cranny, because this case won’t be easy to solve. (German only!)

Mountain biking at high elevations
- Plenty of adventure with the bike routes on Mount Penken -

Penken is the perfect mountain for everyone. This incredible biker’s paradise offers everything from easy to challenging routes.

 

The comfortable 3S Penkenbahn takes you from the center of Mayrhofen up to 1,790 meters above sea level, and then the Kombibahn Penken will take you up even higher.

Funsportstation Penken
- Fun and action for the entire family -

Are you looking for a very special mountain experience? If so, you should take advantage of the warm late-summer days and head on over to Action Mountain Penken for some fun and adventure on our Mountain Scooters, at the E-Trial Parcours, at the Motor Skills Parcours, or at the Mountain Playground located right at the Kombibahn mountain station!

The best places to watch the entire vintage tractor convoy are the Kombibahn Penken mountain station and the terrace of the Penkenbahn mountain station in the afternoon!
