Dear Mountain Friends,

The hot summer days will be over soon and the Indian Summer is about to start. Autumn is the perfect time for hiking and the mountains of Mayrhofen are the perfect place to start exploring. There’s a lot of action, leisure, and happiness on offer for young and old.

The Penkenbahn will be running until 13 October and the Ahornbahn will be operating until 27 October 2019. The opening times of the Funsportstation are as follows: 21 and 22 September 2019, 28 and 29 September 2019, and 3 to 6 October 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

So head up to Action Mountain Penken or Leisure Mountain Ahorn and make the most of autumn before winter takes over. Below you'll find a preview of all the new highlights that are waiting for you this season.

SNOW CARD TIROL
- All of Tyrol for winter 2019/20 -

Explore all of Tyrol in the 2019/20 winter season. Starting at the end of September, you'll have the opportunity to purchase the Snow Card Tirol (through 28 October, daily, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ahornbahn cash desks and from 29 October, Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen headquarters). The Snow Card Tirol provides access to more than 90 ski resorts, more than 1,100 lifts, and more than 4,000 kilometers of pistes. The Snow Card Tirol is valid from 1 October 2019 to 15 May 2020.

OPENING TIMES
- Winter 2019/20 -

Opening hours of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen in the upcoming winter season:

From 7 to 24 December 2019, the Penkenbahn, Horbergbahn, and Möslbahn will be running daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; from 25 December 2019 from 8:00 a.m.

Starting on 14 December 2019, the Ahornbahn will be operating daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Cable Car Guided Tour: Every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. you have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the 3S Penkenbahn.
  • Mayrhofen Trophy: Tackle various challenges such as the Altitude Guzzler Tour and the Ski Movie Run to win great prizes.
  • Albert Adler Tour: Our mascot will accompany you on the new Albert Adler Tour on Piste 4a on Mount Ahorn.

RISE&FALL and OUTDOOR GUIDING DAYS

On 14 December 2019, this very special sports event will take place in Mayrhofen for the eighth time. Four times the adrenaline, four times the excitement, and four times the performance at the highest level in four disciplines: Ski Mountaineering, Paragliding, Mountain Biking, and Skiing.

Sports enthusiasts can register in the four RISE&FALL disciplines (Ski Mountaineering, Paragliding, Biking, and Skiing) for the free Outdoor Guiding Days which will take place from 12 to 15 December 2019. Professional guides will accompany you and guide you according to your ability level.
