Mountain Summer in Mayrhofen

 

Dear Mountain Friends,

 

Unfortunately an error occured in the last version of the newsletter. Here is the new and corrected newsletter - thank you for your understanding.

 

Whether you’re into hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, paragliding, fun sports, birds of prey shows, or just taking in the panoramic views – Action Mountain Penken and Leisure Mountain Ahorn have something for everyone!

 

Tip for all the early birds out there: 30 August 2018 is the final date for our Sunrise Breakfast on Mount Ahorn. Please register by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at any of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen ticket windows or by calling 0043 (0) 5285 62277.

Hiking on Mount Penken and Ahorn

 

On Action Mountain Penken and Leisure Mountain Ahorn you’ll find a variety of hiking routes from easy to demanding, all of which provide you with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains!

Of course, there are also several mountain restaurants where the staff are waiting for you to stop in so that they can spoil you with delicious regional dishes!

 

Tip: The Panorama Trail on Action Mountain Penken, which is suitable for baby buggies, leads from the Kombibahn Penken up to the Penkenjoch and down to the Penkenbahn Summit Station.

Birds of Prey Shows at the Eagle's Stage Ahorn

 

Until October, you have the amazing opportunity to visit the one-hour Birds of Prey Show daily at 2:00 p.m. (except Fridays) at the Eagle's Stage Ahorn, where you can experience eagles, eagle owls, buzzards, falcons, and other birds up close and personal. It’s guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience for young and old

 

Tip: On the Birds of Prey Path that leads the Eagle's Stage Ahorn you will find out some interesting facts about the birds that you’re about to watch in action.
