What a wonderful summer we’ve got in the mountains of Mayrhofen! On Leisure Mountain Ahorn you can watch the Kings of the Sky soar through the air, and on Action Mountain Penken your entire family can enjoy a nice hike on our Panorama Trail. Experience unforgettable moments surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Zillertal valley.
Be sure to visit the exhibition of the two local artists Carolin Steiner and Regina Wechner at the Café-Bistro Kunstraum. Our tip: Have a look at the pieces of art first and enjoy a cup of coffee and some homemade cake afterwards, all while taking in the stunning views!

Visitors hold their breath in excitement when the kings of the sky hover mere inches above their heads! The Birds of Prey Show takes place daily at 2:00 p.m. (except Tuesdays) at the Eagle's Stage Ahorn on Leisure Mountain Ahorn.
At the Falconry Backstage workshop, which takes place every Wednesday morning from mid-June to mid-October, you have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and learn interesting facts about falconry. Buy your ticket at one of our cash desks or call 0043 (0) 5285 62277. Please register by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

PANORAMA TRAIL

The Panorama Trail on Action Mountain Penken, which is suitable for baby buggies, leads from the Kombibahn Penken mountain station up to the Penkenjoch and down to the Penkenbahn mountain station.
For refreshments our mountain restaurants and huts are always a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy some delicious regional dishes.
Our tip:
Be sure to stop at the Funsportstation where you'll find Funballz, Mountain Scooters, an E-Trial Parcours, a Motor Skills Parcours, and a Mountain Playground, which are all perfect alternatives to hiking!

THE EARLY BIRD CATCHES

... some fresh mountain air! Get up to the Ahorn Plateau with our Ahornbahn Hiker’s Gondola, which runs daily at 7:30 a.m. until September. It's a great opportunity to get an early morning start on the mountain with a ride in Austria’s largest cable car.

Our tip for young and old detectives: With the help of the Locandy App, the Leisure Trail transforms itself into the interactive crime story "The Poacher of Mount Ahorn". You can download the app for free in the App Store and in the Google Play Store!
With four viewing platforms and several places to rest, the Leisure Trail on Mount Ahorn, which is suitable for baby buggies, is great for a leisurely hike.

On 1 September 2019, the traditional mountain mass takes place in the truly special surroundings of Leisure Mountain Ahorn. The mass is being organized by the Mayrhofen Men’s Choir and the Mayrhofen Rifle Company.
